Most agencies are announcing the winning of the U.S. backed coalition in the overall elections with around 70 votes for the West and 58 Votes for Iran.

A very tight race to call. So far, The U.S. backed coalition has won the Christian district of Batroun , the the Sunni Muslim districts of Saida and Tripoli and the Druze fiefdom of Chouf and Aley while the Syrio-Iranian coalition has won the Christian districts of Jezzine, Jbeil, Kesrouan, Baabda and Zghorta.

The tight race has been in the Christian districts of Ashrafieh, Zahleh and Metn.

As for Hezbolla Land like South Lebanon and Baalbeck, no one dared to run against the Hezbolla and as such, it won uncontested.

The biggest loser is Shia Muslim Speaker of the House Nabih Berri.
